Horizon does not look good economically.Yesterday Dick Gephardt said on TV to Tom Brokaw NBC: " Everything has to be put back on the table ". " That includes tax cuts " ( i.e. " they may have to be taken back "? retorted back Liberal-Tom, with a wide liberal grin. " Everything has to be put back on the table " said Liberal Wunderkid Dick. " Remember " said Dick, " in War World War II we had to raise taxes to pay for the war ". So see Dipy? The Liberal Mind never stops dreaming of Tax increases to pay for all the Liberal Plans ready to be hatched. Of course, the Liberal Mind, has a blind spot in their cerbral cortex in regards to the fact that there is only a limited amount of money to pass around. And that whatever is taken out of the Economy, produces Economic Starvation and malnutrition resulting in a debilitated Economy aka " a Recession ". Unfortunately, with the spending coming up for War on Osama and rebuilding of New York, recession is now a foregone conclusion. Some may argue that Government spending will be good for the Economy. Not really. Uncle Alan's money printing will definitely result in inflation. Yesterday I got " Car Wash Sticker Shock ": New price for Car Washes in my swank neighborhood: $9.50 for a full car wash. Or you can get " exterior only, " on Wednesdays, using a one time coupon for $4.50 out of the local paper. Meanwhile stores are empty. A couple of cashiers, only for giant Staples, or The big local ( expensive ) Hardware store. Perhaps people now go to cheaper Costco or Home Depot. My wife said she heard that Warren Buffett sees a 7 year recession. You seem to be following him closer. Have you heard this? TA
