indeed I do not but the statements had very little to do with the religion. He basically stated that it is punishment from God for tolerance toward abortion, homosexuals, etc
It sounded like that the terrorists were angels
re: I didn't see the speech either, but the above sentence is ridiculous.
Maybe you should have seen the speech before making your statements. Falwell's intolerance was simply unbelievable

I understand what Falwell said, and I think he should be put in a cage - Just like the Taliban morons. It's becoming clear that time has come to put a lid on religious extremism of all kinds.

Rev. Jerry Falwell has laid blame for this terrorist attack on the sins of "pagans ... abortionists, feminists, gays and lesbians...".

That someone claiming to be a member of the Christian Clergy could make such a statement at a time like this goes beyond being repulsive.
