I've been preparing for a rogue wave event (WTC? had no idea, but felt it would be something) for two years. I can also tell you I've watched the mess these financial institutions have dug themselves into get worse and worse. And I will tell you adamantly that this was not my desire or "hope". To quote Sgt. Friday, "Just the facts". It's not my role to hope for anything, but just to be a good prepared "Boy Scout", and play a positive role in my community. As far as people to blame? Blame Easy Al (guy is still at it, as CB's have printed up $115 billion in the last DAY, 10% of M-1 money supply) and the big financial institutions he has influenced into dangerous one way speculative bets and a criminal level of moral hazard. And since you ask for my realistic hope? I hope we can crawl our way out of this emerging debacle in a decade. In the meantime I hope my 18 year son can survive any wars my country intends to fight by then.

Next Week's Rules Free {nearly} money for all, across the whole globe. No selling or shorting {unpatriotic or outlawed}. Exchanges closed if anything goes wrong. US consumers are re-energized to borrow and consume! Endless market promotions ahead w/o sports 'distractions'. PPT on full alert and working overtime. Fed rate cuts to zero (not far to go)if necessary. Gold/Silver suppressed to "the last bar of the last vault". Hell, I'm unloading my risky metals and going with the sure thing! Can a guy get a 120% home equity loan over the weekend? (note: this last part only is a joke, so please don't try this at home)
