Thanks for the account. Of course, in the Washington area, we are much more used to Arabs, Turks, Pakistanis, and other Muslims being woven into the fabric of our lives than people in many other parts of the country. For some reason, for example, a large number of convenience stores and gas stations between here and New York are run by Indians, Pakistanis, and, on occasion, Turks. There are three quarters of a million Muslims in the DC metro area.....

People in the
offices were getting to see the faces of people in planes landing at National. A bit
disconcerting to be sure. Seemed strange there today with no planes in the sky.
They're saying that National may be closed for weeks.


Bad girl. Have you forgotten it's now Reagan airport?
