Falwell's ego demands that he be at the top of the food chain, not one of the underlings that are told what to do. I would not put it past Falwell to advocate the bombing of abortion clinics because he has investments in the baby food industry or pediatric medicine industry. And I would not entirely discount the theory that Falwell had the Aids virus developed because of having heavy investments in the drug industry. But the only way he would get involved in something like the destruction of the WTC would be if he saw a way to do something like manipulate the stock market through this action.
