I think the left would be just as happy if all representatives were elected "at large". They believe government should be a top down command structure so what difference does it make where a representative comes from?

Hillary was the first "at large" senator.

She had no answer and finally he told her - Carolyn Maloney - she thought it was Nadler or Ackerman. She didn't even know she was represented by a woman.
