Kyros, with all due respect I disagree and believe it is you who might be missing the point. This is not a
matter of spreading the wealth and making everyone happy. If that were the case it may have been different actions by world powers in setting up the State of Israel after WWII or in taking action in 1973-1974 and truly becoming as a nation Arab oil independent. It is my conclusion that what these fanatics desire is not "resolution"
of any kind, but rather to judge by their rhetoric and now their actions, our extermination. Different point of view indeed but that is what makes a discussion.

PS I was for and maintain a position for our becoming Arab oil independent. I do not regret giving the people of Israel a home after what they suffered during the Holocaust. I do however find it very difficult to EVER
see myself abiding the mistreatment ( a euphemism if ever there was one) of women by the Taliban or any other bunch of fundamentalist thugs, any clor or flavor. It is like slavery which we had quite a war over from 1861-1865
as I seem to remember.
