LIGHT A CANDLE NIGHT

On Friday night, New York City is asking everyone to step out your door, stop your car, or step out of your establishment and--- LIGHT A CANDLE. This will happen at 7:00pm EST, which is 6:00pm CST. Unfortunately here in Texas it's still extremely bright outside. We thought that for solidarity everyone could still light a candle at 6:00pm, but that for the full effect of what we're trying to accomplish---having everyone stop what their doing and lighting a candle at 10:00pm would have more of an impact. We will show the world that Americans are strong and united together against terrorism. Please pass this to everyone you know; family, friends, co-workers and neighbors. We need to reach everyone across the United States quickly. The message: We Stand United- We Will Not Tolerate Terrorism!!!

Thank you for your time, cooperation and support in this time of need.

Whoops, have to edit this--I see dealie said Cheney will talk Sunday. Good. It has been really weird he's been out of sight all week.

For what it's worth--I think Bush is starting to show some verve & leadership. I liked the ecumenical nature of that service, and I thought he spoke well. So for all those on this thread that were so annoyed w/ my opinions the last few days--for whatever barometer its worth--I'm starting to feel a little better w/ his leadership today
