I honestly believe neither Truman nor anyone else at the time understood the long term consequences of nuclear fallout. I don't know if they had known it would have changed their decision, but it would have made it a much more difficult one to make.

Suffice it to say, that not every nuke is a weapon of mass destruction. I won't go any further than that. In war, non-combatants have the opportunity to move out of the zone. If they don't, they become part of the enemy. These folks know who the bad guys are and if they're not willing to turn them over, then they are harboring them. Therefore, they fall under the category that the President has stated we will punish. None of the Muslims "like" us. Some put up with us for economic reasons. I guess they won't visit Allah in the end. We are the stated enemy according to their religious beliefs. There won't ever be peace, imo, between Christians and the Nation of Islam. One will eventually win out and I believe I know which side will win. They don't worry about Allah.knc
