Sounds doable, palatable and reasonable, which means it probably won't happen. But they all sound like very good moves.

<< If we help solve the Israeli-Palestinian problem and if we stop the bombing of Iraq by following the advise of some of our European allies, we will go far toward defeating the terrorists >>

Nope, don't think so. The attack Tuesday had nothing to do with Israel.

Go to the bastard's web site (yes he has one).

He says he is pissed because the US set foot on his holly land during the IRAQ war. Nothing to do with Israel.

He says he's pissed because the US arranged the Peace Treaty with Egypt. He hates peace.

This has nothing to do with Israel and solving the issues there will not extinguish the hate that threatens us.

Hi Kyrosl,

stop the bombing of Iraq
Yes, it should never have started. A major gaff. However choice one is removing Saddam and installing a democratic regime or you have accomplished nothing. How will that regime hold up against the fundamentalist pressure of Iran and other states. The Saudi ruling class lives in fear of fundamentalists in their own country.

The solution to the Israeli-Palestinian problem is rather simple
Yes that has been a long time coming, but UN troops MUST be used. Unfortunately a minor stumbling block I believe is that the PLO constitution has some minor clause regarding the total destruction of Israel on the books still or not ?
yaleherald.com

Saddam loses his main appeal to the rest of the Arab world. And so do the rest of the terrorists, who lose their main weapons of recruitment: Ah! but the fundamentalist's calling is more complicated than that. It is more than just having a bit of prosperity that is needed.

On the Taliban, pour money and any other help needed to the Northern Coalition which is still fighting the Taliban
what goes around comes around. When the 'coalition' realizes its objective will they hang together tor the common good or.......review some history and get back to me on that one LOL.

If it were all so easy I wouldn't be worried. I was quite comfortable only worrying about a financial bust. This is far more complicated.
