Just wanted to hint, I am (still;) around, will give blood next week, charity for families of deceased...

Can feel how the pain and the anger are slowly suffocating the quiet American.

Tried once to squeeze out of my mother, how it felt in 1939, but did not hear anything useful. Will have to start will empty clipboard...

Hi Gersh. I found this:

Our hearts go out to all who are suffering, who have lost lives, or loved ones in the tragic attacks in the United States. We of Greenpeace reaffirm our commitment to non-violence, and to the belief that violence only begets violence. We look forward to a day when humanity finds peaceful means to resolve its disputes.

here: greenpeace.org

I cannot express it better.
Don't forget the opposite direction when you read that.

We all will see, we all will have the chance to make up our minds after having seen WHO/WHAT will be targeted by WHOM.

The mechanism of war used to lead from catastrophes through the holy (I prefer blind) rage to the loss of humanity and noon in the public across the history.

How will Mr. Bush act?
Concentrated investigation and elimination of criminal elements responsibel for terrorism?* In this case I will excuse for my scepsis on knees.
Or a wide war of G8 against "guilty found" nations which have the "pich" to control (yet) the most wanted object of greed?** In this case he would turn out to be a perfect "Ibn Bush". Grace to us!

Earlier I wrote: "Who sew wind will collect storm", yesterday I hear this sentence (guess in a correct form) during the service where Mr. Bush attended. (Did you observe his face?)

My impression is that reasonable people understand that their's a long history of winds and storms and that surely this history will not end after the time of vengeance. In this mood you need a lot of courage for outing yourself as reasonable.

I'm very happy to hear that great efforts are made to help the families who have lost their loves. I hope, they will receive eventually what has been destined for them.

* What for, I heard yesterday from secret-service-experts, you surely didn't need soldiers.

** Mr. Powell was demanding indoubtable statements for help from political leaders worldwide - surely not needed for a kind of huge police-action or limited air-strikes.
