> Bush's promise to go after the terrorists and the governments that harbor them.....the first half he will be successful at....the second part is pretty chancy. But lets give him a chance and a vote of confidence.

I am all for it. There has been a comparison of this problem to cancer. As it has been pointed out, once you have cancer, you have to use chemotherapy to remove it. No argument here. But only an idiot keeps smoking during (or after) the therapy and lives in an asbestos dump. If you do, the you'll soon have to go for remission. By the same token, if we do not change our approach, there will be a worse version of Bin Ladin coming to hunt us (just as he is a worse version of Khadaffi). While we are on this analogy, let me say that one of my friend's sister has cancer and is going through chemotherapy. Believe me, she is such a sorry sight that all of us pray we'll never have to go through it. Anyone who thinks that we can chase terrorists around the globe without consequences, needs to talk to the Brits first. So we might as well learn something from this experience beyond hunting them down.
