Nasdaq® Listed Securities — For Nasdaq-listed securities, the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. (NASD®) will lift the trade halt that is currently in effect at 8:00 a.m., Eastern Time, (ET), on September 17, 2001. As such, Nasdaq will open its facilities for pre-market trading and quoting via the Nasdaq Workstation II® (NWIITM)/application programming interface (API), SelectNet®, and Automated Confirmation Transaction ServiceSM (ACTSM) beginning at 8:00 a.m., ET. Nasdaq will open the market at 9:30 a.m., ET, on September 17, 2001. Exchange-Listed Securities Traded OTC — For securities listed on a national securities exchange, such as the New York Stock Exchange and American Stock Exchange, the NASD will lift the trading halt that currently is in effect for exchange-listed securities, at 9:30 a.m., ET, on September 17, 2001. Please note the differences in the trade resumption times for Nasdaq and CQS issues. As the halt in CQS issues will be in effect until 9:30 a.m., ET, NASD members shall not effect transactions in CQS securities prior to 9:30 a.m., ET, on September 17, 2001. OTCBB and Non-Nasdaq, Non-OTCBB Over-the-Counter Securities — Lastly, the NASD is lifting the trade halt for OTC Bulletin Board® (OTCBB) securities as well as for non-Nasdaq, non-OTCBB over-the-counter securities (e.g., "Pink Sheet securities"), at 9:30 a.m., ET, on September 17, 2001.
