Well, business wasn't great before this event. I don't follow the airline industry but it seemed so. I thought it was interesting, and fortuitous, that all the flights that crashed were practically empty.

I just heard the news about the bailout again. Direct payments and loan guarantees to the airlines.

Earlier today it was noted that the three largest U.S. airlines are losing $60 million per day and that within three months, all three could easily and realistically go bankrupt.

This is a reality. It is why I was so upset. (And why I felt misunderstood, pout, pout)

I'vew been in cash except for a few biotechs for a couple of weeks, anticipating some sort of capitulation approaching. I don't plan on doing anything Monday, although I did get jury duty postponed so I could watch.
