Dealie, of course I know that most on this board are staunch Republicans. But because I only post on a few places on SI--mainly here--and then sometimes Vendit's & Teresa's thread because of what i learn from them--I posted my opinions here. I don't want to go searching for a board of strangers & nod my head at them. I was not at all upset about any of your responses--you have a right to your opinion. And no I wasn't trying to touch hotspots--neither does it have to do with being a writer. I simply expressed what I felt, and of this board, I believe I'm one of the few who live in NY. I've been pretty darn upset. It's important for people to hear another perspective. And to consider it. As for "looks" I didn't mean facial characteristics--I meant that ineffable feeling of leadership you get & you need. have a good evening--
