I agree with you that the probability of getting killed by terrorists is very small. You should not forget though that that number became much higher this Tuesday.

If you look at the loss of American lives due to terrorist acts over the years then you would see an exponentially increasing function.

In addition to trend what would really make your premium to go up is a possibility of nuclear or biological attack in the future. Just 50 years ago the nuclear club had only 2 members - Russia and US. Now?
