Re: ad for a dual 1.5 MP Athlon

My own system runs processor 1 at 46 degrees and processor 2 at 43 degrees (probably because one is somewhat "downwind" of the other in terms of case airflow). There certainly seems to be plenty of margin to go beyond 1.2GHZ. The Dual Athlons run very cool at their present speeds.

The issue of Desktop Engineering that came out today has a review of a dual Athlon system. It was a positive review, but included no real benchmarks (only one favorite of the reviewer, against a Dual PII 333 and a K6-2 450).

Tristar had a 22 page circular bundled with the magazine advertising systems and components that included a Dual Athlon system on the front and inside back cover (but no other AMD systems).

PacMan like, AMD is munching its way into the workstation market.
