Razor,

Exactly, we can't just pull out now, because they would collapse.

In today's press conference Colin Powell described the modus operandi of the anti-terror coalition: ``This has become a new benchmark, a new way of measuring the relationship and what we can do together in the future and what kind of support we can provide to you in the future across the whole range of issues and activities,'' he said.

In addition, he did not rule out inclusion of Iran and Syria in this coalition. This gives hope that the US is willing to deal with some of the long term root problems in the ME in return for help in destroying the terrorist network.
