These company announcements seldom actually result in buybacks of large amounts of stock.

Also I think it would be a mistake for people to throw good money after bad. The markets are already in bad shape and the trend is down. What would we get a short pop at best. Whats going to stop foreigners from selling and does anyone honestly think they wont especially with the American dollar under pressure?

How patriotic would it be to throw your savings into an uncertain market and lose it.

Personally I will continue to hold my gold stocks which I've held long term and cash and make no trades in the coming week.

My friends and I are all making donations to the Red Cross to do our small part. If someone wants to be patriotic or to help perhaps they should consider the same.
