Good idea, Christopher. Perhaps you can get it started by beginning a list of verified items. Keep in mind that many items are only partially built here, out of parts made somewhere else. . . so it takes a bit of investigative work.

But I will gladly do the compiling of a list. I had worked on this very thing at the start of the Gulf War. Some people would be shocked to see how many items are no longer made here. Send item names, models, manufacturer and whether parts are made here or if it is assembled here or both. . . to Rande@Insighters.com.

Unless you can find items that were made in countries specifically found to be harboring and/or actively involved in terrorist activities, I don't see the point of punishing innocent countries with an embargo of their goods.

I assume you did NOT mean to include them. Good luck trying to find 100% American made goods.

BTW, can we also assume that the energy (gas, oil, etc.)used to make these products also has come strictly from the USA?
