Munich considered seriously to drop this year's Oktoberfest - which since 1830 or whatever happened only once or twice. Because of logistical problems this show will go on, but it will be VERY subdued - no Ozapf, no saturday parade. And honestly this year nobody feels like going to the Wiesn (lawn - Oktoberfest was always on the same spot, that in 19th century was still a nice green lawn) We stopped working 10:00 yesterday for 5 minutes. Trains, busses, public transportation... dj
