Friday September 14, 9:42 pm Eastern Time BEA Systems says board OKs $100 mln share buyback SAN JOSE, Sept 14 (Reuters) - Software company BEA Systems Inc. (NasdaqNM:BEAS - news) on Friday said its board approved a buyback of up to $100 million of its common stock. The San Jose-based company currently has about 394 million shares outstanding, according to Standard & Poor's data. BEA said the repurchased shares would be used for ``general corporate purposes,'' including requirements for its employee stock option and purchase plans.
