I read this list of "things you can do."

Most are game-theoretic attempts to get the sheeple to keep the consumer economy running.

Most are fallacies of the "what if _everyone_ did that!" sort.

Magical thinking, to think that buying a new big screen t.v. next week, for example, will either help the economy or will cause _others_ to also buy things to prop up the consumer side of the economy.

Better approach for individuals: get money out of the stock market ("before the top floors begin to collapse"), buy a gun (before the Second is suspended), avoid public areas if at all possible, and prepare for further strikes on "soft targets."
