Apparently the Verizon CO was taken out or substantially damaged. Our company, as well as many others, are trying to implement microwave solutions. The damage to the telco infrastructure has not been reported extensively, but appears to be significant.

I heard 2 different stories about the American Exchange [where I was a member for many years and still have lots of friends and aquaintances], that the buiding was shot... and the other was that it was "OK" [although they also own and use 22 Thames as office space, which is shot] but there is no electric, phone, or water in the entire area and it could be quite a long time [months he said] till they open. Most products are "dual" list these days in options and the Philly has an agreement to allow AMEX traders to market make down there, as well as some agreement in Chicago as well. The stocks are going to the NYSE I hear.
