Joe, I am not sure how much the FBI knew. If these were just a few among 10,000 they had to watch or if they only had 15 to watch?? It is hard to laay blame after the fact.
As for freedoms, a rule change for zero cockpit entry and dual doors are not that expensive. extra ground crews can be paid fo by enforcing the carry on bag size rule.

What gets me is the pilot uniuon forced the airlines to include an onn-off switch for the cockpit voice recorders, and of course the terrorists turned them off. That will have to be changed.

Wouldn't you rather impose some inconveniences on these suspects? It seems that FBI knew all along who these people were, but for one reason or another these people were not watched aggressively, and as a result, they got away with murder x 5,000.

Joe, you're right.....and we spent billions for the privilege of having them blow up two towers.
