I do not think it is "normal" in any way, and have not said so. Religious people can be good people or bad people, normal or extremists. As can atheists be John Stuart Mill or Stalin. I suppose one might stipulate that human beings can become extremists in whatever they are engaged in, so in that sense "extremism" is "normal" human behavior. Semantics. If he has posted substantively, it has not been to me. I see a specialty of lame one-liners. I don't read RWET unless someone sends me a link. Perhaps he's different there.
