I am quite taken aback by the arrogance, pomposity, and depressing coyness of the post to which you have just responded. Of course she meant to defame religion by making the consequence of sincere, traditional belief appear to be terror or, invoking Falwell, bigotry. Why not be honest?

You don't like that, so decide to "consider the term" 'religious' to exclude them. Go ahead. It's magical thinking, and you can't make their religious zeal go away by declaring it non-existent, but you can give it shot, I suppose. It is also VERY DANGEROUS. If you do not understand the forces that animate the threat to you, you are disadvantaged in dealing with them.
