Up until 1848 Mexico owned most of the southwest and parts of California. We started that war when genral Tailor(i think my memory is rotting) claimed falsly that they attacked Us. Manifest destiny!

Well in 1947 the U.N. tried to define borders. The Jews accepted, the Arabs refused and went for FORCE. They got borders defined by force, just not the ones they were hoping for.

I don't think it's right to edit this fact out of the history.
