Interesting that even permabear Andy Smith is changing his tune on gold. I think the days of 272 POG are long gone. Also a good perspective on gold's use under present circumstances.:

I, too, hope we can take care of this without a ground war. "War is Hell" is as true today as in all ages.

However, I believe we should do what is necessary, keeping in mind the goal of the least number of innocent casualties possible.
