A risk for the nation as it goes on the offensive is that the war ignites a terrorist onslaught from Muslim radicals throughout the Middle East. That's why the initial U.S. strikes must be credible and devastating, the experts say. Our enemies must be convinced that the consequences of attacking us are too great to risk. There are no other options.

The first strike will be very important... It will most likely be one that addresses the terrorist offenses and the harboring states offenses... We are likely to see days of constant bombing via planes and Cruise missiles before Delta type forces are put on the ground supported by Apache attack helicopters... There will be no ambiguity about their mission... "Eliminate terrorists and their supporters"... If we are to live in a safer world the civilized nations must act now...
