No! No! No! In his prolific writings you will notice that he anticipated many of the problems of today and made suggestions on how to survive/exist in the new society. In the 1920s and 1930s he was considered rather "avant garde" for his time. Besides having been a philosopher, Sir Bertrand was a top flight mathematician who collaborated with A. Whitehead in writing the modern "Mathematica Principia" --- a celebrated opus on mathematics. Sir Bertrand was a pacifist in the 1950s. He condemned the use of nuclear weapons.
