Hi JQP,

Re: My guess is that Washington DC will be the focus of the next round of attacks.

I non-concur. A vastly less hardened and more useful target is to continue to take out infrastructure. WTC was the financial infrastructure. Next, a co-ordinated attack on the Houston Ship Canal, lower Mississippi River, Anacortes and Benicia facilities, along with some of the mid to deep water GoM platforms would just about end the U.S. as we know it. The government facilities in Washington have already been duplicated in hardened bunkers, so what would the point be?

You don't even want to know of some of the other possible actions we discussed that terrorists might take.
Actually, I do. But probably not discussing them on a public thread would be reasonable. The only reason I mention the petrochemical industries vulnerabilities is that I think we need to harden them ASAP. And I'm not even one of them there stategic policy wonks. Just a common sense thinker.
