When you make statements like "Former State Department Allbright once said "What good is our weapons if we don't use them" before we started bombing Yugoslavia. Think about it, if we didn't use them we 'd be running out of room to store the sh*t. That is why we keep inventing enemies around the world (after we help them for several years beforehand of course) and then we automatically declare them evil (happening now with bin Laden) and then we start using our weapons. Helps make some well connected people LOTS of money, provides a lot of jobs and votes (and of course, political protributions). So, that is why we have bases in I believe (it keeps rising) around 70 countries and have bombed over twenty since the end of World War II? Because they are all so bad and we are so good protecting ourselves here(absurd) and them? " I think it comes across as you don't know as much about world affairs as you would like us all to believe. You sound more like a conspiracy "nut" than someone that professes to have a monoply of "the way things are". If we didn't have bases all around the world it's more than likely that things would be a lot worse everywhere than they are now. Our presence probably has a dampening effect on the actions that people would be taking, whether you think so or not. No matter how bad some place is, it might, it just might be a lot worse if we wern't around. Have you ever considered that?
