Tanim, boy is it good to get some information about Afghanistan from someone who is actually knowledgeable. There was a very good program recently with a reporter that managed to get into Afghanistan incognito that corroborates everything you said. It would certainly be tragic to make a people suffer for an unelected government they despise. I hear so many Americans (which I am one) say "well they deserve to get bombed to hell for having a government like that." Most Americans are just too mentally lazy - they go for the easy jingoism. I seriously doubt that Bush, with all the information sources at his disposal, is actually committed to a plan that takes the information you've given into account. It will be tragic if he doesn't. It's so sad.
