Well anything is better than to think that these flight crews were completely at the mercy of these nut cases with plastic knives and box-cutters ... Maybe a morbid subject , but I'm sure all flight crews along with training would love to know that they have some means of protection in these situations... Always a million times more preferable to have some means of prevention and ways to meet lethal force . 40,000 volts thru a taser can make someone very cooperative , very fast ...
