dave, no offense, but I think it's a load of horse puckey. Ayn Rand was a hard ass alright, but her pseudo-philosophy never made much sense to me ... by her logic, the innocent people in the WTC deserved what they got because they hadn't risen up in revolt against your government's policies, for crying put loud ... <ng> If you substitute 'rains bombs from the sky' for 'comes at you with a gun', you have the terrorists' manifesto here: When someone comes at you with a gun, if you have an ounce of self-esteem, you will answer him with force, never mind who he is or who stands behind him. If he's out to destroy you, you owe it to your own life to defend yourself. She's just a neo-Darwinian apologist for the law of the jungle, imo.
