It's obvious to me, from listening to CNBS and Neil Cavuto on Fox as well as from reading Barrons and some stories on Yahoo from Reuters, the word is out to talk down a potential slide. Barrons, usually the parchment of doom and gloom, gave all sorts of reasons why the market might (should?) rally. Cavuto pretty much admits to purposely talking up the market and CNBS seems to be interviewing all sorts of people who show this crisis or that crisis where the market came thru shining. No one knows what will happen, but it's very obvious that someone (W? AG?) is giving strong marching orders to talk away any crash.
