James: Ask me if I have any self esteem. What is that ? I have absolutely zero nada self esteem. I also have no self esteem issues. Without any self esteem how can I have self esteem issues . You should be the same way. Now PLEASE let me explain... As Christians , our entire total self image should be based upon whom we are in Christ. I don't look at myself based upon how I see myself; I look at myself based upon how God sees me in Christ. Like my pastor tells his congregation. How can someone hurt your feelings or insult you or belittle you if your flesh is dead in Christ. How about the issue of circumcision, symbolic of cutting away the flesh. Lets imagine we are both not circumcised and then imagine we both go out and get circumcised. Now what would be the furthest thing from your mind . Picking an argument or picking a fight with me right. In a way I feel that Paul was speaking of this in another way when he said to crucify the flesh. Nail that flesh to the cross and you will never be insulted or hurt or feel unimportant or unworthy. Get circumcised and crucified "spiritually" and I will guarantee you that you will feel accepting of Gods GRACE.Gods riches. Gods blessings Gods bounty. And when someone talks down about you you will never notice it. Just go back to the image of being circumcised recently, like TODAY...when God reaches out to you to comfort you , you will gladly accept Him on His terms and be willing to be comforted, and soothed, and accepted by Him on His terms. A very close friend whom I just recently won to the Lord ( a month ago ) well, this time last year was spreading rumors about me saying I was mentally off my rocker, she was serious. When the rumors got back to me I said. She's right I am.....people would look at me like I was crazy. Now she is on fire for the Lord and has told me. You know Greg . When I used to spread lies about you and would agree with what I was saying I thought to myself. Either he really is crazy or he really walks the walk. Well, she said .You are the reason I got to the point I just had to know Jesus for myself. I've never been happier or more at peace, in the last 15 years . Della. I said. That is because I kept telling you Jesus loves you just the way you are. She said. I thought I didn't have anything nice to wear to church. She looks down at a very becoming outfit and says .Thank GOD for GoodWill Stores. I told her Della. Dont feel bad... my wifes outfit came from GoodWill too; and we could afford to pay full price...she just held onto me and wept and said I love you . But James. I'll wear GoodWill doesn't bother me . A circumcised crucified dead man is wearing them.....In Christ gregor
