Wouldn't it be ironic if a warrant were issued to bin Laden for securities violations? The paper trail inevitably left by anyone trying to manipulate a particular group of stocks can be valuable in pinpointing the source of the problem, and much easier to prove.

If the information you have posted is correct, then the obvious strategy is for governments to supply enough funds to buy enough reinsurance company stock to prevent bin Laden from making any profit. Wouldn't it be interesting if his short positions were marked to market, and the stock actually went up?
