The Taliban is not going to give Bin Laden up. They have already threatened any country that aides the US in their actions. (That means Pakistan as of right now with their agreement with the US requests for assistance.)

Iran has closed their border with Afghanistan. They have enough misery already. The US posture may be having an effect already in that no country but Afghanistan wants to back Bin Laden's play. Bottling up all that misery may mean that Afghanistan will not receive quite the support they may have once depended on.

Islamic law forbids surrendering a Muslim to a non-believer nation. The Taliban proclaims itself as the most Islam-faithful in all the Islamic world. To give him up would destroy their credibility which is their greatest strength among believers.

It ain't gonna happen.
