That's a wonderful idea, but I don't think Democracy and Islam are compatible, Marsh.

Aside from shorting insurance companies before WTC towers
are bombed with passenger jets ....and other successful
investments....

Let's consider this :

Ultimately , without oil Islam/Arab world would/will be in
a very precarious position....and it will run out someday.

It will be very difficult to raise/maintain flowing fields of
basmati rice and melons , once they lose this resource.

How will Allah provide then susie ?

Answer --->back to camel driving again ,
and tour guides!

Then they will be the envy of all of us in the fast-paced ,
capitalist driven in the decadent west . <gg>

;-)

(Of course , they practiced that trade (sheep herding) for centuries upon
centuries leading up to Jesus time . And turned all of
that area already into the deserts we see today )

For now the Saudis are very comfortable ..i think a certain
amount of "discomfort" should be caused them now . And
a press for greater democracy there
should be started .

That monarchy is a farce...
