Very true. Even in the US the crime rate declines drastically in times of high employment and relative
prosperity, and goes up in times of high unemployment
and recession.

Ron Insana on a local NY radio program said a few minutes ago that there are reports of heavy short selling of the insurance cos and reinsurers the week before the attack. The guess is that there is an investigation underway. That could provide a money trail. I bet some of these funds will be frozen. Those bastards. mike
