Yes, Poet. They sure are. And I bet they are doing it all over the world. The human family. This world is a pretty damn caring place. I think the internet will help this process. It will help to close the gap of fear, suspicion, and ignorance that causes people everywhere to have contempt for one another. When people truly TALK they are able to find that the commonality they share is far more revealing than the trivialities of custom, language, etc. Of course, I do not speak of fundamentalists. Their belief system precludes such an outcome. But somehow I think Browning's microcosm grows larger as we move into the century...
