Thomas, if 404 means they do not work, try using internet explorer...i just checked and both links worked for me on both PCs using IE. if you still have a problem with it i'll post the articles. may i tell you a funny story....funny but true. on Thursday night i was listening to cnn and saw that they were going to interview robert mcnamara and sandy berger. i thought wow....the bush guys and the military are really clammed up and cnn is desperate for stories. i listened further and mcnamara, the former sec def, who formulated the failed strategy that cost 55,000 American lives had some words of wisdom and advice for W. how poignant! next came berger the national security advisor for the previous administration. berger was asked if, in retrospect, he thought the military cuts were too deep and if the previous response to terrorism was too weak placing us in the current situation....he responded by explaining how difficult the Y2K problem was and how successful they were in handling that one...right to the point! uw
