mads..will try and get a few words up on the mkts tomorrow. a critical key will the corporations and their buying of their own stock. unfortunately i have not heard that the exchange has lifted the restriction on companies that allow them to buy their own stock only on a downtick...i would shelve it for now if it was up to me. i've heard and seen numerous plans of patriotic expressions of support for the mkt at the open. depending on your view of what is to come over the next few months and years there are some sectors and niches that make outstanding buys here...it is my guess that few of us understand as of yet the implications ref the amount of money that is going to be spent and the level of liquidity that is going to continue ($120B repos last week alone)to be injected into the system. so, again depending on what view ones takes of such matters, there could be more reasons to buy rather than to sell. personally, after working and screening as much as possible over the w/e w/the flu, i am going to buy as much stock as i can of certain select situations. this will be a war like no other and specific technologies and capabilities will be in significant demand for perhaps a very long time to come.
