Yeah, it really is inconvenient when reality rudely interrupts your pipe dream. If we're so decadent we cannot defend ourselves, then we really don't deserve this democracy and prosperity because we cannot defend it against the thieves of the world. But I think that, unfortunately for the liberal pantywaist "I'm scared, momma, I'm SCARED!" whiners, we're hardly to that point yet. The current younger generation will do just fine when called on by their country. The Afghanis and Soviets? The Afghanis were getting their butts kicked by the USSR until the US started supplying them. Particularly with those Stinger missiles that took down the Soviet helicopters and jets and removed the Soviets big advantage of mobility. I really don't see that the Afghanis will be that lucky this time. They're gonna their butts kicked right up to Allah.
