The fact that they have used much of europe as a staging area as well as the impact terrorism has abroad suggests that they will jump on board I wonder. They seem to be backpedaling from their commitments under NATO. They declared this to be an attack on the alliance and allowed the US to invoke clause 5, the mutual defense clause. Now they seem to be saying that they didn't really mean WAR. Ideally, I would like to see a multinational support to simply ferret out the extremists in a divide and conquer type fashion. That can only work for a while- -until the other guys figure out what is happening and unite and force the big war on you instead of the series of small ones you wanted.
