I am kind of similar to your husband in that respect. I feel awful after sending them away when they come to the door, but I don't know what to say to them.. They spend all that time walking around the neighborhoods, knocking on doors, giving away all that literature, and haven't the heart to be sharp with them. After all, they believe strongly in what they're doing, and they're only intrusive in the fact that they always seem to come when you're on the toilet or in the shower.
