Lola, We had a Turkish exchange student that was introduced to a few young Mormons on a "mission". She was totally taken by their politeness and inner calm. She became absorbed in learning about them. She found golden plates in the side of a mountain in Pennsylvania along with "magic" glasses needed to read them hard to fathom. But she was delighted to find that there is actually a group of Mormons in her home city of Istanbul. She planned to seek them out on her return. She has been home a month and a half and so far says she has not had time. This same eighteen year old told me that Turks have never killed Kurds, just terrorists. That must be why their government does not want the title Kurds used. Accordingly they are all Turks.That way when they kill one they killed a terrorist.
