I also read about the rigging of that "successful" anti missile test. It is a huge waste of taxpayer money at this point, but MAYBE in 5-10 years. We spend trillions to come up with a defense system and our opponents defeat it by simply painting their missiles with silver (deflect laser) or adding high power "noise generators" (confuse radar). Studied war and morality in college and found the subject fascinating. The terrorists understand something that it appears Bush also understands. It is MUCH easier (and cheaper) to be on the offense than the defense. It is especially true here in the target rich US.
